Social bookmarking is a great tool for teachers and students. It is possible to have online resources and tools at your fingertips, in an organized fashion. I have found multiple articles and websites available for parents, teachers and students. They can be used in or out of the classroom. It is also a great way to collaborate with other educators, parents and students. There is an option to join groups with other people with similar interests. Diigo is the social bookmarking app that I have been using on my i pad. I haven't figured out how to highlight bookmarks yet, if any of you readers have the answer for me please comment on my blog post.

  1. I am having issues with highlighting on my iPad too. I found this link about the subject. Let me know if this works for you!

  2. When you want to highlight you will just log into Diigo and then literally highlight the text. A little box will pop up with a pen and a "talk bubble"
It's pretty easy once you find it. :)

  3. I have a widget that I click whenever I want to highlight or place a sticky note on a website that I have bookmarked in Diigo. I wasn't really sure about the value of this tool when I first heard about it, but the more I use it, the more I like it!
